Isla's night with the Grandparents

My parents were in town and Isla loved it! They kept Isla while Alex and I had a date night. We went out for sushi and I realized how much I've missed it. Dad rocked Isla to sleep while she had a tight grip on her baby lamb. She finally fell asleep.

She has now discovered her hands and loves to put them in her mouth!

She loved the trips to Target. We had a great weekend with the grandparents and hope to see them soon. Isla was very sad and fussy when they left.

Isla loves the water!

Our little girl loves her bath time. She just smiles and splashes around. I do believe she loves the freedom of being without her diaper! I just love her round belly. She smiles and is attempting to talk to us all the time. She is so much fun!! We are really enjoying her. She had a visit with her grandmother (Rhonda) this past week. We all went shopping and out to eat lunch. Isla had a blast!

Isla's other grandparents and great grandmother are coming up this weekend to visit. She can't wait to see everyone!

Our little reindeer

We had a great Christmas with our little Blitzen! We went home for the holidays to see my parents and we got about 4 inches of snow. It was beautiful. Alex enjoyed playing in the snow. He actually took this picture of my parent's barn.

We then came back to Raleigh to celebrate Christmas with Alex's parents and the Puryears. It was great and we love our new coffee maker!! I am sure next Christmas will be fun when Isla is a little older and can enjoy gifts. We wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Isla's Arrived!!

Sorry for the delay, but apparently newborns have their own schedule and it's a busy one!! Isla Morgan arrived on November 22nd at 2:56pm. She weighed in at 8lbs and 20 1/2 inches long. She is beautiful and we love her very much! We are so excited to have her in our lives. She also had her first photo shoot when she was 11 days old. The pictures are awesome. This is going to be a very exciting Christmas this year.

Isla's Nursery

Isla's nursery is almost finished! We still need to put her name up on the wall, but we have the important items in her room. I love the bedding, it's sweet and simple(just my style). I could not be happier with the way everything turned out.

I'm sure I will spend many late nights in this chair.

I tried to get most of the nursery in the picture.

37 WEEKS

It's a little late, but here it is!!

31 WEEKS

We are now at 31 weeks and can't wait to meet our little girl. She is growing and remains very active. I will soon post pictures of the nursery once it all comes together. Alex did a great job on Isla's room. Here is a belly shot-not the best, but you can see the growing belly. I'm not sure it can stretch out much more!

MEET ISLA MORGAN

We had our 3D ultrasound today and got several face shots of Miss Isla Morgan! She was not cooperating, but we still got some nice shots.
